I’m sure they were written to be kids’ books. 100 years later, I don’t really relate to them, but I enjoyed reading about the way things used to be. This one is set leading up to Christmas. The overall plot is about the house Grandpa Ford just bought that has a strange noise in it. The adults in the book and the 2 older kids are trying to figure out what’s making this noise. Could it be a ghost?
