The Pontiac G6 Kit (US patent #10,619,723 and #10,215,273) allows you to quickly and easily repair your automatic transmission shift cable by repairing the cable end that attaches to the transmission shift lever. This particular cable style does not have a bushing but rather plastic prongs that break over time. Our patented replacement sleeve comes complete with replacement prongs and ensures a quality repair with ease. A professional can perform this repair in under 5 minutes, average time for a non-professional is less than 15 minutes. This kit is made from a material that was designed to outlast the factory cable end. You will need a drill and 3/8" bit to complete the repair. The kit includes DIY instructions and pronged replacement sleeve custom designed for your cable end.
