Butts lived in Bohemian London and among the expatriates in Paris, including her lover Cecil Maitland, and Alistair Crowley.
Fine in blue linen with silver embossed titles to the spine, blue-and-white headband and tail-band; in a very nearly fine dust jacket with a mild vertical soft-crease and original printed $7.95 price to the front inner flap.
