vintage set of six 11-1/2" x 18" pages of production paste-up art (circa 1971)
by comic fanzine artist Jim Jones for the
feature "Profile on Collectors...Jim Jones"
that I believe ran in THE COLLECTOR #23 classic fanzine published by Bill Wilson
From the estate of Jim Jones (from his personal archives).
Jim Jones was a prolific creator in the comic book realm. He worked closely with Harvey Kurtzman as they were good friends. Although he did not reach the prominence of some of his contemporaries, he was well known and respected in illustrator and creator circles, and was published frequently in numerous fanzines such as RBCC (among others), Playboy, Mad, Cracked, Trump,, National Lampoon, and others!
