Bound in original gilt-stamped quarter vellum over blue patterned cloth, top edge gilt.
A hint of soiling with a few nicks to the vellum spine, small nick to the front pastedown endpaper, front endpaper, and margin to the first few pages, else near fine; lacking the box.
Illustrated with sixteen full-color mounted illustrations with tissue-guards.
A lovely edition of this Kentucky Civil War novel with an unusually clean vellum spine.
