The album made its first appearance on Billboard, peaking at No. 9 while in the meantime receiving Gold certification from the Recording Industry Association of America on May 2 and Platinum certification two months later, on July 6. It also made it to No. 3 during a 19-week run on the UK album chart, and on June 30 of that year the British Phonographic Industry awarded the album with Gold certification for sales of over 100,000 units in the UK.
