Brand new factory sealed dvd in a cardstock snapcase. These usually have the chapter stops and some stills from the movie printed on the inside cover. Out Of Print (OOP) and no longer being manufactured.
Tight film story of the infamous Australian murder trial of Lindy Chamberlain (Streep), who was accused of killing her own baby, mostly because of the intensely adverse public opinion, aroused by vicious fake news media, that surrounded the case. Chamberlain blamed the death on a wild dingo dog, which dragged the baby off from where the entire family was camped.
Near-documentary style, eloquently attacks the process of trial by rumour that made the Chamberlain's the most hated couple in Australia. Lindsay lived the nightmare of seeing a wild dog carry off her infant and then endures a travesty of a trial by the courts and the media. Thanks alot fake news, sound familiar? Both Streep and Neill are heartbreakingly good. A good argument for imposing gag orders on the fake sensationlizing media.
