Brand new factory sealed 2-disc set of the first eight episodes of Retro style anime. It has the look and feel of classic shows like 'Gigantor' and 'Astro Boy' but with new stories and hi-tech animation techniques. There is also no blood and nothing that a nine-year-old could not watch. The only noticable differance between the edited version and this is that dead bodies are shown. CYBORG 009 is a show about a group of people who are half-human and half-robot. Abducted and turned into augmented humans against there will, these cyborgs are revolting against the person who made them, the evil Black Ghost. It starts out as a group of nine people (cyborgs 001-009), a genius baby from Russia, an impoverised cook from China, a freedom fighter from Africa, etc. against an army. They have to somehow find the Black Ghost and bring him to justice. After a while it turns into a 'monster of the week' as a new adversary shows up every week that must be defeated.
