Full Description De Cicco is an excellent choice for extended harvests for home gardeners. Vigorous plants yield 3-4", blue-green heads. After cutting the main head, more side shoots develop, producing many more small to medium-sized heads through the summer. Good for steaming, stir-fries and for freezing. Sow indoors six weeks before transplanting outdoors.Favorite multi-cut Italian variety. A traditional Italian heirloom variety producing small, avg. 3–4" main heads projected well above the foliage followed by a large yield of side-shoot spears. Nonuniform in maturity, resulting in a long harvest period. Grow as later succession to BC1611 or Atlantis. Longer harvest period than other sprouting broccoli varieties, with more variation in shoot size. For spring or fall production.
