THE EX-DETECTIVE
By E.P. Oppenheim
London: Hodder Stoughton Limited, 1933.
First edition.
Attractive bookplate to the front pastedown endpaper, a tiny bit of foxing to the upper page edges, else near fine in light blue cloth, titles and ringing telephone illustration to the front cover; lacking the dust jacket.
This scarce British first edition collects 10 stories originally published in MacLean's, a Canadian news magazine founded in 1905.
