One lower corner tip lightly bumped, else nearly fine and fresh in green linen with black embossed titles and illustration depicting a gun-wielding western man on a horse to the front cover and black embossed titles to the spine; yellow top edge coloring remarkably bright; in a fine, fresh dust jacket with an illustration of a cow-girl roping a calf.
Internal decorations and jacket art by Harold von Schmidt.
An exceptionally nice copy of this western novel by the novelist born in San Francisco.
Many of his works were adapted to the screen, most notably THE THREE GODFATHERS.
