In this nature series Jimmy finds adventures in all seasons with his friends, creatures, animals and fantasy folk including Scratch Cat, Fairy, Funny Man, The Politest Child, Sea Monster, giants, goats, a goose, playmates, Highwayman, a sea captain, an elephant, and a grand finale on the North Pole with Santa Claus and his elves and reindeer.
Mild offset age-toning to the edges of the end-papers, else very good in lightly soiled golden-sand linen with blue embossed illustration depicting children in a tree-house to the front cover and with blue embossed titles to the front cover and to the spine; lacking a dust jacket.
A well-preserved, sturdy, high-quality vintage edition with absolutely adorable illustrations.
