Uniformly bound in decorated sturdy red cloth with gilt titles and cover device.
Ownership name and address on the endpapers and lower title-page of all volumes, else a near fine clean set.
Two volumes "The Cup and the Sword" and "River Supreme" have the lower corners bumped.
The set includes: THE PEACOCK SHEDS HIS TAIL; THEIR OWN COUNTRY; OIL LAMPS FOR CHINA (filmed); YING AND YANG; RIVER SUPREME and THE CUP AND THE SWORD.
All volumes were originally published in the 1930s and 1940s.
