Pages are lightly age-toned, but are clean and nice, else near fine in green buckram cloth with gilt flower illustration embossed to the front cover and with gilt titles and decorations embossed to the spine; in a very good edge-chipped dust jacket with some minor creases to the lower front panel, short edge-tears and slight darkening to the spine panel; original $5.00 price still intact to the front inner flap. This early dust jacket, with a fascinating illustration of Indians chewing rubber from a shrub, has done it's job in protecting and further preserving the book.
