FIESTA
by Robert Ramsey
New York: The John Day Company, (1955).
First edition.
The front endpaper has been SIGNED by the author!
A near fine copy in brick red cloth with a bullfight scene to the lower front cover; in a near fine, price-clipped dust jacket with mild age-toning to the spine.
Cover illustration by Ronald Clyne.
Although his older brother was killed in a Mexican bull ring, Antonio must serve as a substitute while he dreams of escape to a better life in the United States. Several bullfight scenes are dramatically portrayed with "unrivaled brilliance."
A Scarce novel of contemporary Mexico.
