Beautiful Solid Wood Antique Side Chair – and 50 similar items

Offered here is this Beautiful Solid Wood Antique Side Chair. It is in incredibly good condition, although I am unsure of its exact age or origins. The chair has a solid splat style back, that is unusual and rare. It has beautiful carved details on it. The legs on the chair are I believe Federal style and are also carved. Although I am unsure of the type of wood used in this chair, the wood grain in beautiful. The chair has some very minor surface scratches to the finish, but it is otherwise in great condition. There is a small chip missing from the left front foot of the chair at the very bottom. The upholstery on the seat is intact and has most likely been redone at some point. It is a more contemporary fabric and free of any holes or tears. There are a few small chips in the wood at various edges of the chair, but nothing large. There is also a crack running in one of the front legs through the thickest portion of the leg. This crack does not go all the way through but should be possibly repaired at some point before it gets worse. The chair is 42.25” tall at the back, 19” tall at the seat, 16” deep at the seat, 20” deep total, 21” wide across the legs, and 19” wide across the seat. This is a beautiful old antique side chair with an incredibly unique and unusual style. It would make a fabulous addition to any antique furniture collection.
