Bonanza and Google Attributes - A Winning Combination

@johngermaine, that is news to me. I am sure that I must have told her something that may have given that impression but as far as I know that is not the case.
She said all we would need are the drop down menus and the existing boxes that are on our listing pages. This attributes business makes zero sense and never has! I could never figure out where the double bracketed stuff went, and then when I found out if you did it wrong they would not show your item, that was enough to convince me that this was not worth investing a bunch of time in on the off chance that Google wouldn’t like it. So what gives, and why the mis-information back in May or June when I was madly trying to get Google Compliant before their deadline?? This is very upsetting and I have seen other posts that attributes were disappearing as well. Can we get a straight answer on this one? Some of us have many listings and this isn’t fair to do this to us, tell us one thing and then change it a couple of months later!
@johngermaine, I am not so sure that we ever told you to remove attributes but it very well could have been misunderstood. That is a good example of why this webinar is a good idea.

I have received a few emails asking for clarification on item traits and attributes.
Item Traits: Used for Bonanza search (on the search filter as additional options), item traits also convert into Google Attributes (if it is a valid Google Attribute).
Google Attributes: Used solely for Google. Will enhance your Google Shopping and Google Organic search results.
You can use Item Traits exclusively and get the most bang for your buck. However if you already have attributes in place that you need not do anything, they are fine. You can add item traits over and above them. Item traits give you exposure improvement on Google (provided they are approved attributes) and also added visibility on Bonanza.
