Q. Who has the most badass programming team on the internet? Facebook? Twitter? A. Well they may have a respectable team but pound for pound, the Bonanza programming team has to be one of the most productive online (in addition to their mad ping pong skills)! For example, from our "What's New" list from today:
If you visit your My Bonanza page you will see a cleaner look and a much easier page to navigate. Bill mentioned that he is not done with that page so stay tuned.
You should also note the entry, "Allow suggestion of non-existing trait from new item form." This is a really helpful tool that will now allow you to suggest traits from the new item form. So if the item you are listing does not have your brand or color, just enter the new trait in the blank field and presto, the trait is added to your listing and also sent to admins for permanent approval.
We also fine tuned our Facebook teleporter to be smarter about which picture to use when sellers post listings to their wall, added more detail to your fees page, fixed several issues reported on the site (than you), and also added a few suggestions that many of you were so kind to submit to our support team. Three cheers for the programmers!

Wonderful improvements that will make for a more productive listing and hopefully more sales! And I like the new look of our My Bonanza page.
THANK YOU FOR THIS: Allow suggestion of non-existing trait from new item form.
I’m definitely digging the new look. I hope it was my suggestions for the stats area that helped give you guys an idea.
And I like the Ads promo page to, very easy to understand.
Very positive changes overall. Thanks. Hoping Bill puts the pending tag link back on the My Bonanza page.
Love the “Allow suggestion of non-existing trait from new item form.”
Great Job, keep up the good work.
Does the “Allow suggestion of non-existing trait from new item form” only work if it’s a brand new item? Can I edit my old items and put in what I want?
You can definitely edit existing items and add new traits if you like.
I like just about everything about this esp. Allow suggestion of non-existing trait from new item form. The new look on my bonanza page is clean and sleek.
I know Bill is not finished with that page so please put the items with pending tags back on the my bonanza page.
I like it. Looking forward to seeing what else Bill has up his sleeve.
The Pending Tags are easily found from your My Bonz page. Just click on the Sale Booster Dashboard, and go to tags. View Pending Tags is right there. Yes, it’s not in your face, but also not cluttering up the tiny print on the old My Bonz page.
Allow suggestion of non-existing trait from new item form. Hurray! Very useful. And Thanks for all the other improvements!

Does the “Allow suggestion of non-existing trait from new item form†only work if it’s a brand new item? Can I edit my old items and put in what I want?
Apparently not. I just tried it. Maybe I am doing something wrong. Mark, can you answer this query please?
You should be able to edit your item, and manually type a trait suggestion in the trait field and once you type the suggestion you will see the suggest link appear. There are some fields that do not have this option but the main ones (Brand, color, etc) do have them.
I’m having trouble making it work as well ariverrunsthroughit. I’m using Google Chrome if that helps Mark.
Nevermind, got it to work! Thanks Mark!
L@@K’n good! LOL (((
)))
For some reason this blog post reminds me of the old days.
Where do I find Pending Tags?
Nothing is called “Sales Booster Dashboard” on my “My Bonanza” page. Does a person need to be a subscribing member, in order to have that feature?
If you go to your “Account Settings > Other” tab and select “Yes” to “Show experimental features” then you will see the “Sales Booster Dashboard”
Excellent, much better!
Fix back button not always working when traversing from search → item → search.
I tried the return back on the search – the same search I had before – and it WORKS PERFECTLY!! Absolutely right back to the last item on the search results page I had clicked on. Even if I had wandered about the item’s booth.
Downright “Zippy”! Thank you!
Very happy about the add suggested trait X – especially “material”. Have not tried yet, but have high hopes
How long of a turn around can we expect on the traits we suggest being approved?
The traits will instantly be applied to your listing in the form of an attribute. Once approved by admin (Daily), they will be added to your item details in the form of a trait. Initially the approval could take several days as we have high volume of suggestions.
Where is the “Sale Booster Dashboard”?? and the pending tags?
MoldavitePlus has got our back below

If you go to your “Account Settings > Other†tab and select “Yes†to “Show experimental features†then you will see the “Sales Booster Dashboardâ€
It will then show up in the left hand column in My Bonanza under Booth Management.
I Like it !
Love the “Allow suggestion of non-existing trait from new item form.â€
really like the new look however I hope you put the pending tags back in there so i do not have to constantly go to my batch edit/or dashboard to see if I have pending tags
As mentioned in the blog, Bill plans on further enhancing the My Bonanza page so stay tuned and keep providing such great feedback
Ditto to what Critter said. Thank you.
Would also like to see pending tag suggestions back on the My Bonanza page otherwise I will more than likely end up missing them. I already have a hard enough time remembering to get my daily tokens
This seems to be a popular request (and reasonable). We shall see
Like the new look! My pictures are not loadind to facebook. Maybe it will work later.Sometime when changes are made it takes a while to catch up.
Re: fb tweets.. abt 90% are coming thru right but the rest are still grabbing random pixs off the collections at the bottom of the listing. For any of the older booths if we turn off “participate in collections” it works perfectly. Now to figure out how to do this in the newer booths.
Couldn’t that be changed Bill? pretty please
Love the ability to add new traits.
Would love to have pending tags back on the “my bonanza” page without going to the seller dashboard. Way too many clicks. Used to be 1 click would get you there once you’re on “My Bonanza”; now it’s 3.
Have we always been able to publish to our blogs? If so, I must have missed that option. If not, I think it’s a great addition. So, how does it work? What does it publish and where on the blog? Any details you can provide would be greatly appreciated.
However, the overall changes to the My Bonz page were unnecessary and aren’t very user-friendly:
That said, I’m happy to see that the search problems have been fixed. I’m sure it will encourage buyers to browse Bonz search more. I also like the fact that we have the ability to add new traits. That will be a very helpful tool. Two questions regarding traits, though — If a trait is NOT approved:
Thanks!
We have always had the feature to post to your blog via one of our widgets.
If a trait is not approved, then it will remain on your listing as an attribute so it will at the very least benefit your visibility on search engines.
Looks good! Great work!
count my vote for returning the Pending Tags to where it was. also please bring back the counts of items pending. it was way convenient to at a glance to see and be able to get to them. If you really feel wild can we see a Link to the HPL and folks who favorite you on the main page also
I agree this team is the most proactive I have come across in the e-Commerce arena
Thanks Mark.
I forgot to say earlier that when I first saw “publish to blog” under the new My Bonanza, I got excited for a minute and thought we were gonna be able to do individual “blogs” for our booths. That would really be neat……..I’ve been hoping for something like this for a while now and this might would give us another small edge to appear in the Google organic search engine.
Oooohhhh, thanks, Mark. Yes, I’ve got widgets on my blog already. I didn’t realize that’s what it was referring to. I have to say that I like TipTop’s idea about having individual blogs. Having that on another venue I used to sell on was a nice feature where we could post updates, announcements, and even product info that would be valuable to customers.
also I think folks for the most part do not know where to approve Tags so we really need them back to the main page
thanks
Thanks for continuing to work on keeping Bonanza the BEST selling site on the web. Many of the changes are GREAT and I wouldn’t have even thought to ask for them. My sales are increasing, so enjoy your 1.5%. You DESERVE it
TipTopMgr I thought the very same thing when I saw “public to blog” and individual blog for our booths would be a great feature to have. Not only would it help us with the search engines but also as Purple said it would be a great way to post updates, new product announcements, etc. The more content we create the better we rank
I agree that there is a problem with pending tags not showing on the My Bonanza page. The tagging was getting so much better and people were beginning to participate more. Now they are talking about dropping out. This will most likely be the end of the tagging program if people can’t find them easily. Please consider bringing it back! Thanks.
The pending tags link is back on the My Bonz page — under the Items last sent to Google line. Woohoo!
Thanks Boyz & Galz!
Thank you, thank you, thank you, you have made a lot of peeps very happy today.
Thanks so much for returning the pending tags to the “My Bonanza” page.
your programers are bad ass thanks a lot for having pending tags find its way home. not to mention you actually listen as opposed to other sites
I agree Antiques and Purple………….WOULD LOVE to be able to publish blogs on Bonanza pertaining to our booths. Maybe one day?
Thank you for adding pending tags back in.
Ditto to Taylorsdream’s comment!
We’re moving on up!!! So Proud to be a Bonanzler!!
