Plating is a coat given on the product which definitely fade after certain period due to someone's salty body or due to contact with detergent soap, bath soap or with Chemicals it fades off soon.After the maximum time period when the plating fades of the ring will turn in to its original base color i.e. 925 Sterling silver.
