There’s a small update tonight to our handpicked lists. We revised the header treatment slightly and integrated our Facebook ‘like’ functionality.
Our handpicked lists are so incredible – what’s not to like? Once you like a list it gets promoted on your Facebook wall. The more friends that like the list the more exposure it gets on your wall and your friends. As I mentioned in a recent post we’re experimenting with different social networks to drive traffic. This integration, like our other Facebook features, is entirely optional of course.
So why not sit back, find one of your favorite lists, and share the ‘like?’
OK – saw it – tried it – but will everyone on Bonanzle know my personal facebook? Because my name and facebook avatar shows at the top after I favorite it.
Does it only show for me?
What I mean is will it show my name &b avatar to others when they view the the hand-picked list here on Bonanzle that I favorited?
Or is there a Bonanzle Facebook where it shows [besides the obvious showing on my own Facebook]?
The first I would not want!
The second is fine.
I hope you only meant that the “episode” of Mad Men was over – cuz Mad Men is never “over”.
I love the new feature, in fact I just tried it out!
The only suggestion I would like to make is this: can we please have the option of which pages our posts are sent to. Mine go to my friend page, rather then to my fan page…in fact all my posts from Bonanzle seem to go to my friend page. I even removed the link under cancellation options and it still goes there.
I love being able to do updates, but would rather they go to my fan page.

Only people who are already your FB friends will see when you specifically liked something. People who aren’t your FB friends won’t see your name.
The posts go through to your profile page, which, depending on your FB settings, are only viewable by Facebook friends.
@momspennies – as for right now we don’t have a means of targeting your specifically created FB ‘pages’ – we can only target your profiles. I’m aware this is a request for our other Facebook posts (new items, coupons, etc) and it is something we’re going to look into.
I do have facebook no issues I use the same avator (since its me) my concern is not with facebook BUT here on the HPL itself My real name is now on the HPL next to my avator …thinkin about it not sure right now how I feel about it only that it is a concern for me BUT I do like the feature just like twitter fun to have bragging rights and show off our STUFF !

I really DO NOT want anything I do on Bonanza to go on my Facebook page/wall or my friends pages. I always would want to keep them seperate, as I use the 2 sites(FB and Bon.) for 2 different reasons.

I posted the link to my Elvis HPL to my FB for my friends and to pass on to thier friends.

Just tried it out and it worked fine. I would have liked more text space for the comment though.

Once you like someone elses HPL? or when someone else likes your HPL?? And even if you are not one of the chosen ones that are Plus or Premium???
