Pre-Sale Spring Cleaning

If you’ve started preparing your booth for the Spring Sale, great! Here are a few “housekeeping” tips to make sure your booth is clean and tidy, ready for business! 

Check your inventory:

Whether you’re physically checking inventory or rolling through your Bonanza booth to ensure everything is in stock - an important step! This helps avoid canceled orders due to items being out of stock or items that may have been damaged in storage. Now is also the time to make sure you know where items are located within your inventory so shipping isn't delayed.

Importing from eBay? Keep this info in mind:

  • If you set the listing to "Out of Stock" status on eBay, it will not be automatically removed from your Bonanza account since that is still an active state on eBay. You must manually delete "Out of Stock" listings from your Bonanza account, or move them to "Reserved" status

  • If you find that inactive eBay items are still listed on your Bonanza account, we recommend running a Booth Cleanup to remove those listings. By default, the booth cleanup will only remove inactive eBay items that are in "For Sale" or "Ready for sale" status on Bonanza. To also remove inactive eBay items in "Reserved" status, be sure to select the "Remove Reserved Bonanza listings that are inactive on eBay" option. Click the "Remove with next sync" button to initiate the booth cleanup.

Importing from Amazon? Keep this info in mind:

  • If the automatic sync is turned on and you have selected the option to "Decrease quantity of items on Amazon when they sell on Bonanza," we will remove merchant-fulfilled items from your Amazon account as they sell on Bonanza (where Amazon policy permits).

  • Listings must be active and have a quantity greater than 0 to be copied to Bonanza using the importer. Listings which are "Blocked unless FBA" will not be imported to Bonanza.

Importer Tip:

Both the eBay and Amazon Importers have a “revise” option. This is an important step if you’re making changes to your listings on eBay/Amazon after they have been imported to Bonanza. If you want those changes to transfer to Bonanza, you must run a revise import. This will remove all listings from Bonanza and reimport them back into your booth to match exactly to your listings at eBay. Any changes you've made to listings at Bonanza will be lost.

Check your supplies

Do you have what you need to pack and ship your items? 

  • Boxes and packaging

  • Tape

  • Tissue paper

  • Bubble wrap

  • Butcher paper

  • Business card

  • Thank you notes

Review booth settings

It’s maybe been awhile since you set up your return policy and post-sale thank you messages. Why not take a look and see if they need updating?

After-sale message: 

  1. Point your mouse over the Selling link, top left corner of the Bonanza page

  2. From the dropdown menu, select Booth Settings

  3. Select Payments & Purchases

  4. Scroll down until you see After sale message

  5. Save changes when you’re done!

Shipping & Return policies:

  1. Point your mouse over the Selling link, top left corner of the Bonanza page

  2. From the dropdown menu, select Booth Settings

  3. Select Shipping & Returns

  4. Scroll down until you see Shipping policy or Return policy

  5. review/update and save changes when you’re done!

Keep in mind, if you select “not specified” - it will show as “contact seller for details” to buyers. It’s much easier (in our opinion) to post a specific return policy on your listing. That way buyers know what to expect when it comes to returns and exchanges. If a buyer reaches out to you about your return policy and procedures - please respond within 24-48 hours.
