Hi Michael, I am really sorry that you had that experience, first time we have a complain about the quality, they are gold plated and at least you exposed them to a very strong chemical they will never fade. regarding the size we offer 3 different sizes to our customers, you just need to choose they right size for you, I wish you would have contact me at least for a message regarding this problem, when we have unsatisfied customers we exchange or give refund immediately, is just about the customers needs.
