After tons of research, buying single packs of premium sleeves of every brand, comparing thickness, size consistency, fit of cards, price, and durability, I found that BCW card sleeves are the best, overall, sleeves for my money. They're 4 mils (100 microns) thick, very consistently cut to size, provide a great fit for cards, held up very well to my durability test, and scored extremely well on price. After totalling points, for every category, BCW sleeves were the clear winner. Over the years, I've found that researching products is the best way to get the product that's the biggest bang for your buck, and BCW sleeves are just that. Another consideration is that BCW is an established company, so if you're buying sleeves for the long haul, and you want to have the same consistency, years from now, you'll get it. If you're buying sleeves from companies, that may not be around 5-10 years from now, your stored cards will look messy, with varying sizes sleeves, piecemealed together. That inconsistency makes sorting, and/or shuffling cards a huge pain. With BCW, you can avoid that.
If you're spending more than $100 a year on card sleeves, and you want the best overall product, do yourself, and your cards a favor. Buy BCW sleeves. You, and your cards will be happy that you did.
