Item description

W.S. George china gravy boat. Produced in the Shasta shape with the Forest Floor pattern. Many refer to the pattern as Pine Cone. These have a woodland theme with pinecones and green plants on a milky white background. Notice the Art Deco shape of the dinnerware. This gravy boat has small chip on the handle measuring 1/4 inch x 1/4 inch. It measures 2 7/8 inches tall x 3 1/4 inches in diameter and measures 5 3/4 inches from across the spout to handle. Holds 8 ounces. Manufactured in 1950. Please note that we have many pieces of this dinnerware in our booth. In 1904, William Shaw George purchased a pottery company in East Palestine, Ohio that he had previously leased from the Sebring Brothers. The W. S. George Pottery Company manufactured semi porcelain dinnerware for nearly 60 years, liquidating its holdings between 1959-1960, and closing in 1960. Please super size all pictures for best details.
