4 books
This listing has four books set in Mexico/New Mexico. All are HBs (one has a DJ and two are ex. library).
Juanito's Railroad in the Sky by Vic Herman is a HB published by Western Publishing in 1976. Condition: Good--pages show no handling; a few pages have light soiling; binding tight; no markings; cornerwear on the covers; wear to the top and bottom of the spine; sticker on the spine (looks like it was set up as a library book but was never put into circulation). 61 pages.
Chico by Eda and Richard Crist is a HB without a DJ. It was published by The Westminster Press in Philadelphia in 1951. Condition: Good--pages show slight handling; a couple of pages have light finger smudging; binding tight; covers in nice shape; a little foxing along the spine on the front cover.
Chico is a small boy in Mexico. It is hot and dry and has not rained in some time. His family is worried about the corn crop. Will it die in the drought? Follow Chico on his journey . . . .
Ramon Makes a Trade by Barbara Ritchie with illustrations by Eart Thollander is an ex. library HB without a DJ. It was published by E. M. Hale and Company in 1959. Condition: Good--pages show little to no handling; binding tight; the front end page has been torn out; covers in nice shape, but the back cover has some light scratches. This book is in both English and Spanish.
Secrets at White Owl by Anne M. Halladay with illustrations by Betsy Warren is an ex. library HB with a DJ and mylar covering. It was published by Steck-Vaughn Company in 1967. Condition: Good/Very Good--book looks almost new inside; WITHDRAWN has been stamped on the back end page; covers and DJ in great shape; DJ has been price clipped. This book is set in New Mexico.
