Antique Watkins ?Lazy Plate? barbed wire fence sample dated 1876. Features twisted double-strand wire with distinctive plate-style barbs. Includes old handwritten identification tag marked:

Scarce early ranch fencing design with excellent Western Americana and primitive display appeal. Nice collector piece representing early barbed wire innovation from the late 1800s.
Approximate length: 19 inches
Condition:
