Item description
Vintage 70s Art Glass Crystal Vase by Jiri Repasek. 10?. The vase has a circular base and is processed in detail with a repeating square pattern. A wonderful example of post-Bauhaus decor.
The design of this vase was created by the renowned artist Jiri REPASEK in 1975. The last photo in the gallery shows this vase as new to the market in the magazine from the March 1975 issue.

Jiri REPASEK (1927)
Jiri Repasek started his studies at the glass School in Kamenicky Senov. He continued his studies at the university by Professor Karl Stipl, graduated in 1952, started to work in glass factory Bohemia in Podebrady two years later. Here he became a member of design studio and began to focus on cut glass. Together with Vladimir Zahour they became a pioneers in lead crystal and new cuts. Repasek?s designs soon represented Czechoslovak glass works.
