Vintage 1941 Book Wife Versus Secretary Source for 1936 Gable-Harlow-Loy Film.
Vintage 1941 edition of the book wife versus secretary by faith Baldwin. This book was the basis for the 1936 movie with Clark Gable and Myrna Loy. The book is hard cover and includes the dust jacket, which is unusual. The dust jacket includes some peeling along the edges but the spine is in good condition for the age. Pages show yellowing but are not torn or marked on.
I love old books with funny titles by modern standards, and this is from my collection that I sprinkle throughout my bookshelves to see who notices. This book is actually three Novelas, the first of which is wife versus secretary. Next is bank holiday and finally Friday to Monday. The story is kind of funny and kind of corny by modern standards
