Each pill contains 32.5 mg of dry extract (4,5–8,5:1) rhizomes of Cimicifuga racemosa corresponds to 40 mg dried plant material.
Pharmacological properties: active ingredient — extract of rhizomes of black cohosh has an estrogen-like effect by binding to estrogen receptors. In addition, it noted a decrease in the allocation of the luteinizing hormone of the anterior pituitary gland that may be due to the influence of estrogenozawisimae cells of the hypothalamus and the regulation of the release to them of the appropriate releasing hormone. Estrogen-like effect on the body and a decrease in the allocation of the luteinizing hormone — the mechanism of action of the drug. Extract of black cohosh also has a positive effect on the autonomic nervous system and reduces the level of psychoemotional disorders in menopause.
Indications: vegetovascular and psychoemotional disorders in preklimaktericheskom and menopause, including hot flashes, sweating, sleep disorders, anxiety, depression.
Application: the drug can be used long-term. Klimadinon administered orally 30 drops or 1 tablet 2 times a day, preferably at the same time (morning and evening). Take drops undiluted or with sugar, before using them to stir. The course of therapy is determined individually (3-6 months). Klimadinon UNO appoint 1 tablet 1 time per day in the evening, preferably at the same time. Pills proglatyvayut not liquid, squeezed small amounts of water. You should not take twice the dose if the dose was missed. The therapeutic effect occurs gradually, approximately 2 weeks after taking the drug. The tablets contain lactose, therefore patients with rare hereditary forms of intolerance to galactose, lactase insufficiency, or syndrome of glucose-galactose malabsorption drug should not be used. For violation of or resumption of menses, and also in case of prolonged menstruation or other complaints arising during treatment, it is necessary to revise the scheme of therapy. The combined use of estrogen only under the supervision of a physician because the drug increases their effect. One tablet of Klimadinon DNA contains an average of 0.01 HEH.Pregnancy and breast-feeding you should Not use the drug during pregnancy and lactation in connection with the ethanol content (38%). The drug does not affect the reaction rate when driving and operating other mechanisms.
Interaction: the combined use of estrogen only under the supervision of a physician because the drug increases their effect.
Overdose: cases of poisoning by drug overdose not described. While taking the drug dose, greatly exceeding recommended, may increase of side effects. Upon receipt of Klimadinon in the form of drops in high dose possible alcohol poisoning, life-threatening (respiratory paralysis), especially in children. When receiving the contents of the whole vial once (50 ml) is used to 15.8 g of ethyl alcohol.
Storage conditions: Store in a dry, protected from light place at temperature not exceeding 25 °C; open vial must be used within 6 months.Klimadinon DNA — at room temperature in the original packaging to protect from light, at temperature not above 30 °C.
