Offered here is this beautiful Victorian Lounge Chair. I am unsure of the exact age of the chair; however, it is Victorian and does date to the 19th Century. It is in excellent condition, particularly for a piece of this age. It has most likely been reupholstered at some point, but the wood and finish are original. The carved details in the wood are just beautiful. The chair is missing one tiny little ball shaped accent piece from the bottom of one side. There are also some minimal surface scratches on it from general use. There are a few small dings to the finish as well, particularly at the sides and point of the feet. The chair is 38.5” tall at the back, 19.5” wide across the back, 24” wide across the armrests, 18.5” wide across the seat, 22” wide across the front of the seat, with the armrests at about 9” above the seat, and 22.5” high from the ground, the chair is 31” deep in total, and the seat is about 17” high. The chair has the original wooden casters on it. This is a beautiful Victorian chair. It has been well cared for and would be a fabulous addition to any Victorian furniture collection.
