Beautiful Antique Molded Plaster Sconce Shelf - NICE OLD SHELF GDC - PRETTY

Offered here is this wonderful Antique Art Deco Style Molded Plaster Sconce Shelf.  This shelf is in good condition, and is obviously older, although I am unsure if it's exact age, I would place it from the late 1930's or 1940's.  It is Art Deco style, with the feathers rising up from a ball and claw at the bottom, and curling at the top beneath the shelf platform.  It has been painted in a gold finish.  It does not have any cracks in it, but does have a few chips, particularly at the back portion of the top platform, and along the back edges.  The painted finish is a bit worn, and has some scratches and dings.  There is one good size chip in the top that is wide, but not deep.  The shelf could easily be refinished.  There is also a little indent along the back portion of the platform, for displaying plates.  The shelf is 8" top to bottom, and the actual shelf is 6" wide and 3" deep.  This is a nice antique sconce shelf and would be a wonderful way to display small pieces.
