MA623LL/A is the order number assigned to the original 8 GB configuration and MA627LL/A refers to the original 16 GB configuration. On February 5, 2008, Apple added new software to the 8 GB and 16 GB versions and changed the model numbers to MA623LL/B and MA627LL/B, respectively. The 32 GB model introduced February 5, 2008 was assigned model number MB376LL/A.
