In Hawaiian limu means “seaweed” and could be in reference to any different type, of which there are many. Often, the “limu” in your bowl will be ogo, such as this. This ogo is perfect to use for making Hawaiian style poke, in fish dishes, stews, soups or salads. Soak ogo for five minutes in a bowl of water to rehydrate. Store rehydrated ogo in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days. Variations in color are normal and do not affect the quality of this item. Package contains one ounce of dried seaweed, which is enough to make up to 50 pounds of poke.

We also offer a Hula Market Poke Seasoning Mix.  Making authentic Hawaiian Poke was never easier!  For large orders, please contact us directly for better pricing.  We are also able to source fresh ogo.
