Robin Zingone began her career in New York City. She started work as a production artist for an ad agency on Madison Avenue, then a designer for Metropolitan Home magazine, an art director for an Absolut Vodka campaign and then a full-time assignment illustrator for clients including American Express, The New York Times, Random House, and more. ??Graduating from Parsons School of Design with a degree in illustration, Zingone traveled to Europe to study painting, color, and French literature. The experience abroad started a desire to travel that has influenced her work, from Lake Como and Mykonos to London and Lugano. ??In 2009, after being diagnosed with a rare congenital illness and suffering several strokes, Robin Zingone faced a life-threatening brain surgery. The Life is Beautiful collection, her first addition to the Artaissance collection, aims to celebrate her successful recovery and return to her world of art and color. The collection expresses it all...beauty, contentment, warmth, song, growth, and happiness. ??The unusual use of color, shape and pattern distinguish Zingone's art which she has reinterpreted for licensing. Her modern and chic style can be found in her numerous collections, and currently appear on domestics, fashion, stationary and paper goods. Currently, Zingone works in a modern barn home and studio she designed with her husband Peter, and shares with her rescue dogs and cats, overlooking the Connecticut countryside.
