I believe very difficult to find This lovely gravy boat is 5 1/2" in diameter at the widest point x 3 3/4" tall x 8" long. Beautiful Cobalt Blue handpainted blue flower Decoration. The gravy is in excellent condition and is stamped with artist mark and Dated 1998. Selling my collection!!!Would be great for holding gravy, cheese, sauce dips,condiments, nuts, candy etc., holds generous 32 ounces. A Great Piece to add to your Stoneware Collection That will fit in nicely with your Antique Stoneauware or complement your Early American Decor. This is one of Rowe's most popular items. Historically they are still functional today. Each piece of salt glazed stoneware is hand crafted and signed with the decorator's mark. They are decorated with the same cobalt materials used over a century ago. During the firing process, salt vapors react with the surface of the clay to form a durable, permanent glassy finish. Because these products are truly handmade, you will not find the consistency of machine made, production line products. The size and shape of each piece will vary slightly and the pattern will be influenced by the individual decorator who creates your piece. These are inherent traits of salt glaze stoneware and contribute to making each piece of Rowe Pottery a unique signature of all involved and an heirloom to be treasured for generations to come.
