From the estate of a lifelong owl collector, this is a vintage ornament made from a small dried gourd. There are no identifying markings but it resembles those made in Peru. It is burned, dyed, and etched by hand, has a small wooden beak, and dried seeds inside rattle when shaken. It is 2" wide, 2 1/2" high, in good condition and may need light cleaning.
This is from a large collection of over 500 owls. We will be listing them over the next several weeks.
