This is a vintage Eskimo Jelly Belly brooch or pin. It was most likely made as a souvenir brooch for visitors to Alaska. The man or woman is dressed in a parka and is holding a fish. It has a stone oval cabochon in green and blue that reminds me of the world map. I don’t know what the stone is made of. The stone cabochon is framed with a silvertone metal. The fish has a clear rhinestone eye. This is not signed and I’m not sure when it was made. It measures approximately 1 ½ inches tall and just over 1 inch wide.

This brooch is in great vintage condition as you can see by the enlarged photographs. There is a very tiny spot of glue on the brooch from when the cabochon was placed into the brooch. I did not try to remove it as I don’t want to damage the brooch. You don’t see it when wearing the brooch and it only really shows with magnification but I wanted to point it out, it looks to have always been there. The roll over clasp closure works fine. The pin portion does have a little wobble where the pin is attached because the opening is a little wider than the pin itself. Please look at the photos as they are part of the description and show the details better than I can describe.
