A wonderfully glazed dark brown Japanese redware piggy bank is one for the collector of Japanese redware. It is also a usable savings bank since redware is durable.  Although pre-owned this bank is in excellent condition since it was never used by us but was part of a collection. There is also a sticker on the bottom marked Japan.  The measurements are: approximately 5 inches tall, 4 1/4 inches wide at the ears, and 3 inches wide at the base.
