This handmade copper necklace pendant is a beaded cherry blossom tree. The curved triangular frame is formed and hammered by hand to strengthen. Fine gauge wire is wrapped onto the frame with soft light pink pearlescent glass beads to form a cherry blossom tree. The necklace chain hook and eye clasp are also made by hand from copper wire. This is a versatile and eye catching design suitable for any occasion including casual wear, business attire, or a night out.

Copper - I use natural 100% copper wire to create copper jewelry items. It is not treated with a lacquer or wax. Copper naturally oxidizes over time and develops a patina. Some people love that look and some prefer to keep it shiny. Slow the oxidization process by wiping your copper jewelry with a soft clean cloth before and after each use to keep it clean. You can easily clean oxidized copper jewelry and return it to bright and shiny by soaking it in a mixture of lemon juice and salt for 30-60 seconds, rinse with water, and dry. Try it with a penny.
