This beautiful wall hanging letter holder is 9" tall x 7" wide x 4" Deep  and has 1 large slot to hold anything you like. It has a wonderful Rooster on chicken wire with straw and a small egg.  There seems to be maybe one egg missing on the other side if there was one there.  The wing and comb on the Rooster Chicken is metal.  It is a very nice well made wood item with some distressing on the painted surfaces.  

 

I purchased this at an estate sale so I do not know the age or history of this piece.
