This is a gorgeous and elegant rhinestone fish or dolphin brooch/pin made by the Attwood and Sawyer Jewelry Company. They were founded in the 1950s in Wales and they are known for designing high quality fashion and costume jewelry. The fish or dolphin is beautifully crafted in a gold tone metal and covered in round faceted brilliant white rhinestones or clear Swarovski crystals. According to their website they are “the official designer of the Royal British Legion Poppy Collection”, which has raised millions of pounds for the charity by selling Poppy brooches to celebrities such as Angelina Jolie and Lady Gaga. They also made jewelry for the Dynasty or Dallas TV series in the 1980s. The brooch is signed on the back A&S. It measures approximately 3 inches long and 1 ¾ inches tall. It is a substantial piece of jewelry and weighs 1.10 ounces on my postage scale, which converts to 31.18 grams.

This striking fish is in excellent vintage condition as you can see by the enlarged photographs. The gold tone metal is bright and shiny and all the rhinestones are intact, sparkling and nice and clear. It looks like it was never worn; there are no visible signs of wear. It has a pin and rollover catch on the back, which functions nicely. Please look at the photos as they are part of the description and show the details better than I can describe.

This will look stunning with any outfit you choose to wear it with. It will look great for a fancy evening out, or with your favorite pair of jeans for a casual day of shopping.
