Printed in England, and one of series #2454 state capitol postcards. No writing and never mailed, the back is imprinted with:

"New York has an area of 49,170 square miles, and is sometimes called the 'Empire State', because of its wealth and large population - and is also known as the 'Excelsior State', from the word emblazoned on the State seal. The State flower is the rose. New York (one of the original thirteen colonies) was named in honor of the Duke of York and Albany, to whom the territory was granted in 1664."

Mostly clean and damage free, but for a trace of corner wear. No tears or creases.
