This listing is for two California Raisin figurines produced in 1988 by Applause and Made in China. One is still sealed in the package the other has been opened, but still has the packaging with it. He is playing a set of blue and white drums with “The California Raisins” on the front of the drum face. The raisin is a deep maroon or burgundy and is wearing white gloves and a black hat with a yellow feather. He is wearing black and white sneakers. He has yellow and white drumsticks in his hand. The Raisins measure just over 3 inches tall, 3 inches wide and 1 ¾ inches deep. The bottom of the foot is embossed with ©1988 CALRAB China Applause™.  On the black part of the foot is a V5.

Both of these are in excellent vintage condition as you can see by the enlarged photographs. One is brand new in the sealed package; the other has been opened, but was never played with. It has a few little flaws from production, such as paint where it shouldn't be. The sealed package has the paperwork inside for joining the fan club. Please look at the photos as they are part of the description and show the details better than I can describe.

These would make a nice addition to anyone’s California Raisin collection or vintage advertising memorabilia.
