Synopsis:
This drama is adapted from Jon Krakauer's book of the same name and tells the story of a series of events that ultimately lead to the murder of Brenda Wright Lafferty (played by Daisy Edgar Jones) and her precious daughter living in the Salt Lake Valley suburbs of Utah in 1984.
When Detective Jeb Pyre (played by Andrew Garfield) investigates the internal affairs of the Lafferty family, he reveals some unknown secrets: the origin of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints (also known as Mormonism) and the violent consequences of steadfast faith. As a devout Mormon, what Pyre discovered made him question his faith.
