This standard sized comic book features 16 full color pages. It is self-covered.
This features great art by Kurt Shaffenberger - the artist of D.C. Comics' Lois Lane. Two children in the story meet a conquistador in a museum. His spirit inspires them as they learn about the modern spirit of exploration found in Braniff Airways!
Through the story, the children see Braniff's major planes, including the DC-7C - the El Dorado, the Convair Metropolitan, the jet powered Electra, and their El Dorado Superjet - a Boeing 707.
They see the cockpit of a plane, the engine maintenance process, the hangars, the administration building at Love Field in Dallas.
They travel to Kansas City, Dallas, the Panama Canal, Peru, Brazil - w they see the 130 foot statue of Christ in Rio de Janeiro. They return to good old Washington, D.C. and then New York City, w they see the Statue of Liberty, Rockefeller Center, and the Empire State Building.
This copy has no wear. The paper has slight aging
