1936 New York Giants Chicago Cubs 5 Cent Score Card Mel Ott Stan Hack Herman

 

An Official 5 Cent Score Card for the New York National League game at the POLO GROUNDS during the 1936 Season. This card was used for a Game between the New York Giants and the Chicago Cubs for a June 28 game at the Polo Grounds. Giant players in the line up were Ott, Moore, Lieber and Whitehead. Hubbell was the Starting Pitcher for the Giants.  Players for the Cubs included: Hack, Herman, Galan and Hartnett. The scorecard has been filled in with the play of the game. The Cubs won by the score of 3-0. There is writing on the front cover and in the program, and the program is in fine condition. There are lots of great ads in this 12 page score card. This was the first game of a double header. the second game was scored on a separate sheet of paper with is clipped into this program. The Cubs won the second game 6-0.
