This is an original AMAZING SPIDER-MAN CALENDAR POSTER from 1990, which says 19 - 91 (1991) on it naturally, because calendar posters usually come out the year before they are used. This GORGEOUS Spiderman poster measures a giant-size 36 by 24 inches (3 by 2 feet), featuring artwork by TODD McFARLANE. Because it's larger than conventional 34 by 22 inch posters, it covers more wall space and is much more impressive! It's very detailed in person.
This spectacular poster shows the Amazing Spider-man and a couple of his fellow Avengers members the INCREDIBLE HULK (in the right edge area) and CAPTAIN AMERICA (in a very brief top center cameo head shot near the top middle area). Also shown are super-villains like the GREEN GOBLIN, VENOM, DOCTOR OCTOPUS, SABERTOOTH (the villain from the X-Men), HOBGOBLIN, the LIZARD, the CHAMELEON, MYSTERIO, the SCORPION, and even Spidey's late 1970's/1980's girlfriend the BLACK CAT. Lots of these poses are from Todd McFarlane's cover art during his Spider-man days with Marvel.
IMPORTANT CONDITION NOTES (see photos): This out of print/OOP 90's Spidey poster has never been displayed and the image area of the poster is in terrific shape, but it's in "good" condition only (using comic book grading terms) due to having many crinkles along the right side edges of the poster (see photos). I am 100 percent certain that many other poster sellers and collectors would grade this poster higher (or not inform you of it's flaws), but I prefer to grade more conservatively.
