Lens hood has been used, But it is not damaged in any way. Item has been used with signs of cosmetic use - it may have some scratches from normal use. I don't see anything damaged, or any cracks, or dents (see pics). This lens hood is fully operational and functions as intended. I would rate it a 8, on a scale from 1 to 10.
Please make sure that you have correct model lens, or it will not fit.
