About the item:

Measuring approximately 11 by 14 inches and released in 1991 as part of a limited edition portfolio (only 2,000 were made) this stunning art print features Conan the Barbarian and is autographed by hand by Roy Thomas.  Known for his tremendous body of comic work, Thomas is perhaps best known for introducing Conan to American comics (Conan The Barbarian #1, Marvel Comics, 1970).  The series greatly expanding on the original storyline of creator Robert E. Howard's character and, ultimately, Thomas' interpretation of Conan helped launch a sword and sorcery trend in comics.

The image on this print was used as the art to the cover of Savage Sword of Conan #113.  The print is in good condition (has some minor creasing about half-way down along the edge of the right side but is only visible if held just right to a light source).  It displays very nicely and it will be shipped with the utmost care. Please note- the signature is real. It is the actual, hand-signed signature of Thomas. It is not a pre-printed image on the print.

~Certificate of Authenticity/Provenance:

Excepting pack-pulled autograph trading cards, CGC Signature Series, signed Sideshow prints, and like collectibles, all autographed items Vault Collectibles sells were personally witnessed, by myself, being signed by the writer, artist, or celebrity in question.  No third party is involved.  Further, art sketches - and most published original art I sell - were obtained directly from the artist themselves.
