Vintage New Millenniumopoly Board Game. By Late For The Sky (Retired/EOL)
This seems to be a knock-off of a Monopoly game in which you travel through time "buying" people and inventions. The board and game play is similar, except that all the prices are $50-$75 more and the "Chance" and "Community Chest" cards are very different from Parker Brothers "traditional" cards. Also, the colors are a bit different than the Parker Brothers "traditional" colors. Other than that, they play the same.
Time flies. And what a millennium it’s been! Millenniumopoly takes a lighthearted look at the people, places, and events of the last 1000 years. Pay attention as you make your way around the board – we’re moving on to the year 2000!
Here is a quick idea of how to play. Buy property, collect blocks of time, trade your time in for a century. Of course there’s a party. Land on the giggling baby and happy new year! – Collect everything in the center of the board!
But if things don’t go, your way, you may end up stuck in the 20th century. It sounds easy enough, but add the Prague, party clean up. The Y2K bug, and the IRS and it becomes a little more difficult and a lot more fun!
So choose your token, advance to Father Time, and let the countdown begin! Who knows? You may be the next Michelangelo. You may be buying a new swimsuit for Marco Polo‘s pool party. Or you may be looking for Einstein socks! It’s your role… And anything can happen! What’s a 15 letter word for 1000 years of fun?
